A Glimpse of a Queen

Brian was back up in Horizons early the next morning as we sailed toward Helsinki. Lo and behold, a giant ocean liner appeared on our port side. Using one of the telescopes in the lounge, he could spot the discreet lettering on the stern: Queen Victoria, as it raced past us.

A previous cruise on the Queen Mary II only adds to the, yes, thrill of spotting one of these majestic Cunard ships.

At some point later, a much smaller pilot's boat emerges from the mist and we know we'll be docking in Helsinki before long.
