Hong Kong High Rises

Once we'd arrived in Hong Kong, we spent a lot of time gawking at the high-rise buildings, from the 59th floor Conrad Executive Lounge as well as from walking around the Central District. The generally foggy and cloudy weather that prevailed through most of our stay enhanced the ethereal nature of the photos. That, it often looks spooky.









We couldn't help but be impressed by the bamboo scaffolding that's still utilized efficiently in this part of the world.





This is a shot we took from the open inside of the most famous building (at least for architects) in Hong Kong. To quote Frommer's:
