Hong Kong Sunday

We walked around the Central district adjacent to the Conrad this morning, generally following this Frommer's route.

Later we took the MTR across to Kowloon and walked along the Avenue of Stars. We then spent an hour so in the Hong Kong Museum of Art, and finished up with a walk through Kowloon Park before returning to the hotel for awhile.

It's still too cloudy to make a trip up to Victoria Peak worthwhile, but even if we don't ascend, we've seen it before, albeit on an overcast day, and there are lots of other places we want to visit while we're here. It's a cool day by Hong Kong standards, but at a humid 81 degrees Farenheit we find it warm and sticky. That makes the hotel a pleasant refuge between excursions.
