Checking Out Chiang Mai: Tourist Traps

Okay, so maybe it's not nice to describe lacquerware producers, umbrella factories, and silk stores as tourist traps, especially since this area is famous for its hand-painted umbrellas, but we mean it in the nicest way possible and we do break down and buy a couple of small hand-painted umbrellas for a couple of our younger relatives.
















It's been a busy and hot round of touring, and now it's time to drive back through the twisty streets and relax with a beer from the Secret Garden's Honor Bar.
