A Day At Ayutthaya - In Transit

As we noted here, we spent an interesting day at the ancient Thai capital of Ayutthaya.

The train was late, so we had time in the station to observe the hustle and bustle and hair cutting.



We eventually board our train. The windows are filthy and Tom and Ellyn don't look too sure about this.



but the air conditioning for which we paid extra is thankfully working and they cheer up.



Kathy and Brian settle in to enjoy the, ah, view that's barely visible through the grimy glass.





Once we arrive, we quickly find a driver with an air conditioned car and set off for our first stop.
