We hire our driver to return us to Bangkok. We aren't stuck behind this load of baskets because it's four-lane all the way.
The outskirts of Bangkok are in view before long.
Once we exit the freeway, we manage to get stuck in a traffic jam less than a mile from our hotel and spend an hour traversing one block. Thank goodness the car is air conditioned, and thank goodness we arrive back at the Millenium Hilton in time for Happy Hour in the Executive Lounge.
