Why Do They Call It The Sunset Cruise?





There's a long history of controlled burning of the undergrowth that has been part of the Aboriginal way of managing wild fires and regenerating the land, going back as long as 40 thousand years. We were frankly amazed to see so many fires burning over such a large area during our visit to Arnhem Land. One side effect: The smokey atmosphere visually enhances the sunsets. Stunning!
