After last night's dismal dinner, and with lots of time on our hands, we went for a walk and came across a well-recommended joint within a block.
Citizen is a funky little coffee shop located in an old building.
Although there was talk online about the French / Vietnamese influences, the breakfast menu is Southwest.
Kathy chose the breakfast sandwich and Brian, of course, went for the breakfast tacos. Everything tasted home-made, the waitress was cheerful and friendly, and the total bill came to around $20 before tip including bottomless cups of coffee.
So it seems we've found another winner in this neighborhood to complement Bahn Thai.
Two out of three - not bad.
