We had a decent enough sleep at the Hampton Inn last night, although we both awoke far too early, almost as if our bodies are readying us for European time.
The windows aren't as insulated here as at some other properties and we could hear planes taking off and landing as we fell asleep, but we did sleep.
Our flight to Chicago is due to depart around 10:50 a.m. so if take a shuttle over to the airport at 9:00 a.m. or so we figure we'll be in good time.
Since we're flying internationally we'll have access to the United Club, even though we relinquished our membership after five or six years at least. This will allow us a chance at Internet both here and at ORD.
When we arrive in MUC tomorrow morning, we take the S8 to Rosenheimer Platz and climb the stairs to the Hilton Munich City, a very pleasant hotel where we've previously stayed.
The most recent Munich weather forecast suggests a Tuesday high of 44 F and rain, snow, and wind, a good day to stay inside.
Aha... since writing the above we've gotten a couple of delay messages for our SEA-ORD flight and we can see the inbound plane is late in flight from DEN. That tightens our connection a little but we should still be able to catch it. We don't want lose those upgraded seats and end up in the back of Economy on another flight.
