Once checked in and settled at the Doubletree, we decided to spend some time wandering around the old Upper and Lower Towns. We caught a tram back to the railway station. There we bought seats on the 12:30 p.m. Sunday train to Ljubljana. Being Easter Sunday we expect it to be quiet.
From there we crossed the tracks and street and strolled the historic Upper and Lower Towns. Then it started to rain earnest. The hotel had offered us umbrellas as we left but we were carrying our handy travel umbrellas in the long inside pocket of our Scottevest jackets and they came in handy.
It was time for an inside activity.

Even the giant Easter eggs were starting to look soggy.
And things were getting grim in the large open market.
