We deliberately got ourselves off to a late start this morning, stopped fairly early for lunch, and spent much of the day stopping at beaches to walk, to collect a few shells, and generally to enjoy the scenery as we take the slow road.
We’re camped tonight at Camp Waipu Cove, not that many miles north of where we started this morning. We’re in a “neighborhood” of trailers parked on a long-term basis, and there’s nobody nearby. We enjoyed a stroll on the beach before dinner.
This evening we’ve dined on steak, mashed potatoes, and cauliflower, complemented by the remains of a New Zealand shiraz, and the beginnings of a South African Cabernet.
The weather was decent today and is predicted to be okay tomorrow as well.
