Today was a selfish shopping day, catching up on odds and ends and readying ourselves for the final surge of packing before our departure for the Southern Hemisphere.
We're attending a play at Jake's school in Chilliwack Wednesday afternoon, understanding he has a line or more in it. Whatever his part, we'll be thrilled to watch.
After visiting with Jake, Taegan, and their parents for a bit, we'll drive to the Vancouver Airport, drop off our car at the Park'N Fly, and check in for our YVR-SYD flight, the 24th longest commercial flight.
That's only the beginning of an itinerary that will include six nights wandering New Zealand's North Island in our Wilderness camper van.
Following that, we fly to Perth to attend Oz Fest #10.
Getting there is half the fun though, so we'll take it in easy stages.
