Port Elizabeth

Yesterday was a fairly leisurely travel day. We stayed in a lovely modern hotel last night, the Paxton.

We ate dinner nearby and actually ordered Hungarian food from the menu. Kathy chatted with the owner, who happens to be from Hungary and he told her about the difficulties in getting the proper ingredients for some recipes. It was tasty.

We also found out coincidentally that one of the many Australian couples traveling on the tour know Bill and Sue, our Australian friends in Sale. Just one more example of what a small world it can be.

As we head toward the end of our tour, we realize we'll miss the expert commentary of our excellent guide, Craig. The bus has been as comfortable as buses can be, and Craig has had everybody rotate three seats clockwise per day, so we've gotten views from all angle. Today we'll be sitting the very back seats.

We've had breakfast, our luggage has been moved to the lobby, and we'll be boarding in a few minutes.
In two nights we'll arrive at Cape Town, where we stay four nights, and we're looking forward to that as well.
