Gawking At Changi Terminal 3

We strolled over for lunch and ate at the Crystal Jade Shanghai Restaurant. We enjoyed some dumplings, Hot and Sour soup, spicy green beans with pork, and crispy chicken, so authentic that it was shaped like an actual chicken, complete with an actual crispy little head, which we chose to ignore.

We wandered for a few minutes, taking photos and admiring the surroundings. Terminal 3 was strangely quiet - almost deserted - and we presume mid-afternoon is a slow time for international flights.

All the better to take in the surroundings before returning to the Crowne Plaza, with easy entrances on two different levels directly at one end of the terminal.

The corridor to our room is open, and the sound of planes is obvious. So far our room seems to be pleasantly quiet.
It's a very pleasant place to spend the last night before our flights totaling about 10,500 miles from Singapore to Tokyo Narita to Newark to Providence, i.e. SIN-NRT-EWR-PVD.
