We finally decided to walk and to try out another lounge. We were welcomed hospitably to the ANA Lounge that is close to a 10-minute stroll from the United Club. ANA maintains another lounge closer to our gate that we visited a couple of years back, but we thought we'd try this one out with lots of time to spare.
Let's compare it to the United Club: It's cooler, the lounge covers a larger area and there's more space between chairs, they offer actual food, including sushi and a noodle bar.
Oh yes, they even offer a self-serve Sake bar, which Brian at least may try out later.
In other words, there's no comparison.
