South Africa Saga: Tsitsikamma National Park And Its Rock Dassies

We beat the weather during our coach stop at Tsitsikamma (pronounced sit-sea-kamma) National Park and enjoyed a long stroll through the woods and up and down to the beach and three rather elaborate suspension bridges.

On our way we especially enjoyed spotting a colony of Rock hyraxes, also known as Cape hyraxes, Rock rabbits, or, in South Africa, Dassies.

It was a spectacular one-hour return walk and a most worthwhile stop.
