The captain during his usual noon announcements explained that Tropical Storm Melissa is heading our way; thus, Riviera is being diverted from docking at
Ponta Delgada in the Azores farther southward to Funchal.
We've visited both ports before so it matters little to us. This is the North Atlantic in November and we've seen interesting weather before.
