Bangkok: Viva & Aviv Restaurant

We took the Hilton across to River City again last night and decided to try out Viva & Aviv, based on the good reviews.

Other than the music a DJ was playing being just a wee bit loud for our tastes, we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Their fusion-type menu offers pizza with Thai toppings, among other tidbits. We settled for some spring rolls, a larb-like beef salad, chicken and cashew nuts, and the mixed grill of duck, shrimp, and pork on skewers, each with its own sauce - delicious!

As we gazed across the river at the Millennium Hilton, we realized again how fortunate we were to be visiting Bangkok again. River City is also the boarding point for a number of big dinner-cruise boats, and we felt doubly fortunate to be watching them disgorge passengers from our vantage point.
