KUL Terminal 2

This is the low-cost-carrier terminal where we board our Air Asia X flight to Colombo, Sri Lanka.

It's new, spacious, and air conditioned. We'd read it's "chaotic" but it wasn't today. We went through pleasantly minimal security after entering and again to reach the international area.

It also features one of the longest walks we've ever experienced in an airport, but much more pleasant than, say, LHR or IAH.

They also offer three free hours of Internet, and our 45-minute wait before boarding should be covered nicely.

Next stop CMB.
