Shanghai Paperwork

We felt like first-time travelers here. The AC crew said we wouldn't need an arrival card if transiting. Yes we did. The signs to international flights didn't apply to us.

Amazingly, the immigration officer cheerfully helped us complete them.

Now we have a 48-hour visa and found our way upstairs. We stopped at the Thai counter to pick boarding passes for tomorrow's flight.

We then went through security and exit immigration. Turns out we need a card for that too.

We eventually found the Star Alliance lounge upstairs near 71. Here we sit for a bit before boarding our TG flight to BKK.

Whew!
