We walk across the Vistula River and stroll over to the Old Town and Market Square, the largest medieval square in Europe at about 200 x 200 meters. It's quite a glorious day, mainly sunny and breezy, and we're happy we decided at the last minute to leave our jackets behind.
The scene reminded Kathy somewhat of her 1967-68 Vienna year, although this too houses a Hard Rock Café, and we couldn't help but notice fiacre coachmen (and women) talking and texting on their cellphones.
