Oh, and we loved the fellow sitting one row behind the exit row who, when his roll aboard wouldn't fit in the overhead compartment, decided to lay it down on the floor of the exit row across from us. Fortunately, a flight attendant spotted it, spoke sharply to the passenger, and moved it before takeoff, saving us from having to use our call button and be the bad guys.
Is it possible this was his first time on a plane?
The EMB 190 is quite comfortable, especially in the aforementioned exit row and well worth the extra few bucks we spent for the seats. Obviously, our Polish fellow passengers felt differently.
