Back in the U.S.A.

Our American Airlines 777 flight was generally smooth. Brian slept well in the lumpy old angle-flat Business seats and Kathy didn't sleep at all.

Still, the food was plentiful and the service was friendly. We all had to sit on the plane for an extra five minutes after arriving at the gate, due to something connected with Customs officers boarding the plane. We saw nothing.

Immigration was a breeze and the TSA line wasn't too long or too noisy, helpful since one of us got the annoying SSSS on the boarding pass so couldn't use the PreCheck line. (Yes, we reprinted our BPs at ORD and got the same result.)

We got Admirals Club access with our Business/First tickets and are relaxing after long leisurely showers.

We still have fly to Dulles via Miami but we're somewhat refreshed.
