A Hot Day in Rome

This was one of the hottest days we've experienced, especially for touring big sites like the Colosseum and the Forum. 

We made it. We've also moved from the Airport Hilton to the Best Western Canada for two nights. It's very pleasant and well located, three Metro stops from Colosseo, for example.

We rode the Hilton bus into the city for free, then grabbed a taxi to the Canada.

After a crammed subway ride back, we've rested in our cool room for an hour before heading to the well-reviewed Mama Angela's for dinner.
