It is, in our opinion, the quintessential city in which to stroll and stare. There's the added bonus that you don't have to worry about cars at intersections - only Asian (and other) tour groups.
We first made our way to St. Mark's Square, where we listened to the Rick Steves description on our devices.
Then it was time to wander.
