Five Years Later: Wandering Zürich

Has it really been five years? It seems impossible but it was September 2010 that we last stayed at the ZRH Holiday Inn Express and spent a day walking around.

The hotel no longer runs a shuttle into downtown, but it's less than a 10-minute walk from the Rümlang train station. We could also take the airport shuttle to the large Bahnhof there and catch a train into downtown.

Our fellow passengers were very quiet and the train stations are immaculately clean. Of course, that applies to the whole country, at least in our experience.

It's a very pleasant day for walking here and we took advantage of it.
