Frankfurt Airport Hilton Garden Inn

It's not all that often we see two hotel properties in the same "family" standing next to each other, yet our plan is to stay at two such pairs on consecutive nights - on different continents.

After pleasant train rides from Zürich Airport to Frankfurt Airport, we've just checked in at the FRA Hilton Garden Inn, standing next door to the Hilton two escalators above the tracks.

Tomorrow night we start a one-week stay at the Hangzhou, China JW Marrriott, which shares some facilities with the adjacent Courtyard by Marriott.

Our trip has just begun and our bodies are not happy being 9 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time. Maybe 17 hours will be more pleasing.
