Flying FLL-SEA (Fort Lauderdale to Seattle) yesterday, we experienced this new menu offering.
This business of selecting three of the five plates seemed confusing. We found out later on Flyertalk that it's acceptable to choose three entrees, although that sounds a little greedy.
In fact, the flight attendant told us the airline had boarded 16 of everything so passengers could choose whatever they wanted.
It's an interesting idea. If we have this opportunity again (it's a trial project), we'll be careful not to eat the salad as a first course, for the obvious reason that the hot course cools (Duh!).
It certainly broke up the monotony of a six-hour flight and we didn't leave the plane hungry.
