Changsha: Tianxin Pavilion and Chonglie Tower

We next visited another historical site, the only remaining portion (as far as we gathered) of the old city wall and a tower.

The ancient wall below this pavilion was originally built around 200 B.C. Changsha  was apparently a "very important" city in olden days; today it is a "second tier" city, which refers to its economic importance relative to other major Chinese cities.

A flower blooms amid all of the history.
