We eventually got our bags tagged (it took the employee several minutes) and ended up walking all the way to Gate 77, good exercise for Kathy and her torn ligament.
Anyway, here we are.

YVR United Airlines Follies
Just the way to start a long day of flying to Lima, Peru. We caught the 4:05 am shuttle at the Hampton Inn, and arrived at the United counter at Vanc Airport to drop off our bags, only to be told to return in "10 or 15 minutes" after they dealt with an earlier flight to San Francisco - their computers are down.

Are you burning through your stash of MP miles before another devaluation comes along? You've certainly been on a travel tear this year. Oh, be sure to post lots of photos and info about Lima; it's on my to-do list!
Actually all paid (bargain) fares - hence the crazy schedule. And we're actually visiting somewhere before you? That's frankly amazing!
