The sun was nearly out Monday and the productive people were back at work, so we decided to sneak up to downtown Vancouver for lunch.
We made our way to the heart of downtown, after a drive through Stanley Park, where we caught a glimpse of some shy wildlife.
We parked near the magnificent old Canadian Pacific Railway passenger terminal, beautifully restored and still a transportation hub.
We caught the Seabus and "sailed" across to North Vancouver's Lonsdale Quay.
There we took in the November view of the Vancouver skyline, savored some tasty fish and chips at Montgomery's, and eventually retraced our steps back to Birch Bay.
