Hilton Waikoloa Village

The Breakfast Buffet in a cavernous but attractive building includes an omelet station. You select your own fillings, place them in a bowl, and line up. The cook shuffles four pans along his assembly line with precision. Four pans at once is a record spotting for us.

The grounds are immense and beautifully maintained.

We saw turtles, an eel and fish in the water, and two mongooses (mongeese?) along the paths.

We viewed the dolphin encounter from a distance.

We even found the palm tree trimmer entertaining.

There is Asian art, including a lot of sculptures, displayed throughout.

Transportation at Hawaii's fourth largest hotel includes boats and a monorail.

Like Disneyland, the boats run on rails.

Quite a place!
