Valletta, Malta: Spinola Bay

A beautiful day to stroll here, more or less around a couple of corners from the Hilton.

We got close enough to a "luzzu," the traditional Maltese fishing boat, to see one of the eyes that the ancient Phoenicians thought kept the evil spirits away.

 

We also admired the statue of a fisherman and his cat.

A fine day to be outside...
