Lunch in Lucca: Osteria da Rosolo

We chose this restaurant after reading reviews and scanning the menu.


It was terrific. Our only mistake was ordering one course too many, something we realized as soon as we saw the big salad and the generous portion of Carpaccio.



There was an abundance of pasta.



We'd ordered a beef dish for two, a Braciola. It was delicious but we couldn't finish the meat or even the accompanying arugula.

We retreated to our apartment, took a nap, and didn't look at food for the rest of the day - maybe not tomorrow either.
