Vienna's Prater: Riding the Riesenrad

Built in 1897, at 212 feet the "Giant Wheel" was the world's tallest Ferris wheel from 1920 to 1985.

We bought a six-day Vienna Pass and this was the first of a number of tourist stops, fortunately on a clear day, despite the high clouds.
