Regensburg: Weltenburger Am Dom

We couldn’t get in here (or anywhere else) last night, so we made reservations for tonight just after they opened. It shares space with our hotel and there may be an affiliation.

We started with one of their namesake beers.

Kathy loved her duck.

Brian’s Schnitzel was also excellent, and we enjoyed talking to our charming young Spanish-born server, whose second language is English, third language German, and survival mode ability in Italian and Portuguese.

It may be our last dinner ashore for a week, as we board Gate 1 Travel’s Monarch Queen tomorrow.
