From there it’s a short walk and a couple of escalators to arrive at Track 7 to await our train.
It’s located in the Squaire, supposedly a combination of “Air” and “Square,” the largest office building in Germany at 1 1/2 million square feet.
The train rolls in a few minutes late and we’re all aboard and seated for our four-hour ride to Hamburg.
First Class is pleasant, and our Super-Saver fare so cheap that we’re not allowed into the lounge at the station. That’s a sign of a good deal.
