We came across a little joint called La Colonna that seemed quiet, and the friendly proprietor seated us and served us.
We only learned of its high Trip Advisor ratings later, but we can confirm that the food was very good.
Kathy and Brian ordered Carpaccio as an appetizer and offered to share it.
Riley had a taste of the raw beef and some Parmesan. Peyton tried some Parmesan and tomato. Lily politely declined.
For the mains, Riley chose gnocchi in a tomato sauce.
Peyton ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and finished the whole thing.
Lily ordered spaghetti and, with some persuasion, pomodoro sauce on the side.
Kathy’s pesto and Brian’s Scallopine al Limone were both tasty, as were the side of grilled zucchini and eggplant that we ordered.
A very pleasing meal!
