We bought premium economy sale fares for this seven-hour daytime flight, and are placed in the middle of the last row. We’ll manage.
The TSA checkpoint is quiet, especially in contrast to a previous trip.
Our Alaska status doesn’t gain us admittance to the BA Lounge, but a credit card Priority Pass gets us into the new Alaska Lounge.
It’s also quiet and a lovely spot to drink today’s first (and only?) good cup of coffee, a cappuccino with a double espresso.
This could quite well be our plane.
Reassigned better seats... hurray!
