One of our occasional readers recently mentioned that it wasn't possible to leave a comment on our blog.
We've fiddled with the settings and think we've enabled commenting after its disappearance a long time ago.
Please feel free to give it a try. Comments come to us for moderation and it will be interesting to see if it really works.
A task like this helps to postpone some of the mundane but necessary jobs we have to complete after being away from home for a couple of weeks.

Let's see if comments are really working.
Why yes, yes they are!
Your blog is really enjoyable, especially those food photos, and I hope you publish more!
Thank you. We have more Oceania cruises in our future.
I've been following your travels since we met on a South African tour in 2012( I think) So great to see you travelling again just wondered what the cruising experience is like now ? We'd love to go on one again but a bit nervous of it yet. Didn't realise until now that I could leave a comment here,
It's great to hear from you. We've visited South Africa in 2008 pre-blog, 2013, and 2019, so it was probably on that wonderful coach tour that included the switchback drive up to the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Based on our experience, we would recommend a cruise while there are some bargains available. Everyone on board, passengers and crew, had to show proof of vaccination, submit to an antigen test before boarding, and take another one before disembarking. Oceania cruise line at the moment is operating at significantly below capacity so there is a lot of "social distancing" everywhere, including the dining venues. We don't know about other lines but we're guessing similar policies are in place. We're careful but we're also ready to start traveling again!
