Instead, we hung out at the pool and then walked a quarter mile down to 17th Street Thai Sushi, where we enjoyed a very tasty, reasonably priced, and large lunch. This will be the only meal we need today.
We asked the Thai server for our Tom Yom soup to be 4 out of 5 spicy, and it was plenty spicy for us.
Thai and Sushi- who’d have thought? The combo works well.
Thoroughly stuffed, we ambled back to our hotel and watched the boats sail by in the intracoastal waterway. This big yacht tying up nearby intrigued us so much we walked down to where it was tying up, right outside the Marina office.
It turns out it’s a deluxe fishing charter owned by the Bad Company. It’s available for a $75,000 weekly rate.
The clouds are over us now, and what a chamber of commerce would describe as a gentle mist is starting to fall, so we’ll retreat from our balcony for awhile.
It moved in fairly quickly.
