A German Dinner In Mannheim at Kurfürst am Markt

We had to walk a mile to find a restaurant that served German cuisine, bringing our total mileage for the day to a very respectable six-plus miles.

Our first night’s waiter recommended Kurfürst am Markt, and we did well.

The friendly waiter recommended we try a local specialty, a “steamed dumpling,” to share as a starter. It was tasty.

After that, it was Schnitzel for all of us, accompanied by French fries and Spätzle.

Blane left room for Apfulstrudel.

A hearty dinner that was well worth the walk.
