Marina docked only a few yards from the base of a major thoroughfare.
The town is charming, featuring winding streets and interesting little shops.
We boarded a tour bus on a whim, and for €9 each enjoyed a one-hour ride around the town and then along the coast. This is the birthplace of Napoleon, and there are various statues of him around the town .
After the tour ended, we found a cute little wine shop with a friendly young proprietor who helped us buy a few bottles of reasonably priced Corsican wine.
We returned to Marina in time to play Team Trivia and dine in Red Ginger, the Asian specialty restaurant.
The pinot noir style Sorba from Corsica complemented the menu nicely.
Shared appetizers…
The legendary duck confit / watermelon salad…
Sea bass with miso glaze for Bud and Jessie…
Bulgogi for us…
A couple of sides…
Another fine day on Marina draws to a close.
